New work commissioned for Whitstable Biennale 2010 included Anna Lucas, Ian Giles, Katie Paterson, Kieren Reed, Adam Chodzko, Augusto Corrieri, Lucienne Cole, Ruth Beale & Karen Mirza.

Central to Whitstable Biennale 2010 was a programme of artists’ film works selected by writer Brian Dillon. UR-NOW collected film works that deal with different sorts of anachronism.

On 19 June 2010, Dillon discussed ruins, time, failure and comedy – ideas raised in the programme – with Bernd Behr and Tom Dale, two of the artists whose work featured in the programme.
